Here's a little background on how The Clear Out came about.

 
I am a mummy run business that started because I was looking for a cash for clothes service for myself and soon realised there wasn't anything available in our local area.  While there are cash for clothes services locally I couldn't find one that would collect. I was also becoming increasingly aware buying second hand with 4 children (aged 3, 6, 10 & 11) in tow was a difficult feat so I combined the two issues and made a solution which has now helped thousands of families over the years. 

Being extremely conscious of the detrimental environmental effects of 'throwing away' I wanted to do something that not only helps other local families to clear-out but encourages the idea of re-using, thus helping the environment. 

 

with a small team of friendly family members on board, we're running consistently and reliably in our local area collecting used clothing and homeware, working alongside small boutiques and businesses to offer last seasons stock still new with tags and with our newly added Declutter service of helping households to declutter and organise rooms in their homes. We have become increasingly aware of this being a need for some families and with our extensive clear-out work over the years we have added this service as an option to the wider community.

 

Although we are NOT a charity, we are keen on charity ourselves and a percentage of clothing and homeware items do go to charity for no reward. Our chosen Charities for 2023 are:

1. Planet Aid Uk (Clothing & Shoes), 

2. The Fire Fighters Charity (Clothing & shoes)
